Lying beneath the shade of a tree, Bergen was content to just listen to the sound of a light breeze brushing across the grass in front of him. It reminded him of the few occasions he had been to the ocean - the rhythmic sound of waves breaking on the shore was somehow mirrored in the rustling caused by the wind. It was rare for him to have time to simply rest during the day, and he intended to make the most of it. He yawned for a moment, contemplating moving out into the light of the sun, but it seemed like a waste of energy. The heat of the day could be felt even in the shadows, and it could be felt resonating from the dry earth beneath his paws, too. Bergen had been taught to appreciate small miracles, and this moment of quiet seemed like one to him - one that knowing his luck would be over all too soon.

Starlight was taking a walk something she didn't do often because she was so busy, She saw her median wolf Bergen she nodded to him, She found a tree were there would be some shade and sat down.

The pack leader was unmistakable as she approached, not only by the way her grey pelt seemed to almost reflect the light, but also by the way she carried herself. Her footfalls were assured, even if her pace seemed almost leisurely. Bergen returned her greeting before raising his head slightly to quickly bare his throat. He was glad that, unlike many wolves, she didn't bother with unnecessary words.
He turned his head to face her, "What brings you here, Alphess?"

Again Bergen returned her gesture, "As you wish," he said, pausing for a moment before adding, "Starlight." He couldn't help the slight grin on his maw. He found that there was something heartening about the fact that even the pack's leader could find time that was her own. All wolves needed to listen to their thoughts, at least on occasion. Bergen was fairly certain that falling out of touch with them was one way to drive a beast mad.
"Pretty much the same. The weather seemed too good an opportunity to pass up," he replied, "Although I'm not sure about those clouds to the west," he dipped his head in their direction, "They look set to spoil an otherwise pleasant day."

She looked over and saw the clouds they where a grayish color, "Look like were in for a storm" than she looked back at Bergen, She was happy he was her median wolf. Starlight looked back at the clouds, just what she needed a Storm to keep me inside my den, She got lonely in there sometimes, hardly anyone visited her, it felt like there was always a freezing breeze was in there when no one else was there.

'At this time of year?' he thought to himself. It was common, particularly as the sun moved to the west of the sky each day, for short rain showers to help keep the rivers flowing. Starlight was right, though, these clouds were moving slowly, and seemed far taller than usual. Their tops looked pale, but the bottoms became a shapeless, dark mass, as if the clouds were caught in their own shadow. They were clouds that lingered, and brought cold, sharp winds with them.
"Mm," was all he could manage. He suddenly felt uneasy, as if the warmth of the sun had drained, and the light was now devoid of comfort. It passed after a moment, but he knew it would likely return once the clouds had moved over their territory.

"Maybe we should head back to camp" she suggested, as she got up the clouds seemed to go faster and faster by the minute, the storm would not be good for her pack theres a high chance of it flooding the camp, she didn't even wan't to imagine thouse dark waters swooping into the camp.
